Why did Fossey tend to avoid going to Ian Redmond's cabin?

Ian Redmond was in charge of many things, including the parasitology project. As a result, Redmond often collected specimens of deceased animals and many other items that caused an unbearable stink. Fossey joked that she went to Redmond's cabin as infrequently as possible because she was afraid of what she might find.
