Puck had a definite personality unlike the others. Puck loved to tear things apart and often made Fossey's bag a target. In an effort to keep Puck from destroying her things, Fossey gave Puck a copy of National Geographic, hoping the magazine will keep Puck amused. Just before Puck leaves the area, he whacked Fossey with the magazine, clearly making the point that he was mad at her for not letting him play with the camera. Fossey noted that Puck stayed angry for two hours, an unusual length of time.
