What was the relationship between Effie and Tuck? How did Tuck treat Effie?

Tuck was Effie's daughter. After Effie had been seriously wounded and could not tend to her own wounds, Tuck took over to play nursemaid. No one was allowed to go near Effie. Tuck even prevented Effie from trying to clean her own wounds. Thanks to Tuck's efforts, Effie healed rather quickly, whereas without Tuck's help, she may not have survived the attack.
