What happened to Coco and Pucker? What was Fossey's reaction?

Fossey had great affection for the two babies, Pucker and Coco. Fossey had planned to reintroduce them to the wild, but eventually realized she had no option but to turn them over to the people that will take them to the Cologne Zoo. The people had promised the Conservator that in exchange for an infant they would donate a new Land Rover and substantial amount of money to the park. Fossey's objections went unheard.
