Fossey told the story of a young gorilla that had become angry with her and others that giggled and played. One of the most interesting examples involved Uncle Bert. Uncle Bert had been repeatedly attacked by a flock of ravens. Uncle Bert had to cringe and protect his head from the attack. Fossey comments that it was clear to her that the big and noble Uncle Bert was embarrassed by having to hide from the birds.
