The relationship and ensuing friendship between Aziraphale and Crowley suggests that, although the forces of good and evil are prevalent, it is not always clear who is good and who is evil. For example, since Aziraphale is an angel, it is automatically assumed that he is nothing but good. If he is from Heaven, then it is inherent to his nature to only do good. However, in his quest to thwart evil, he sometimes does evil in turn. At one point, when Crowley and Aziraphale are leaving in the Bentley and are receiving a ticket from a traffic warden, the warden's notebook incinerates. Crowley does not recall having done this little trick, but Aziraphale blushes as he accepts responsibility.
