Who is Choir of Angels from Faust and what is their importance?

The choir of angels appears throughour the play to bring the word of the Lord. They usually appear to Faust, attempting to convince him to come back to God. They also appear at Faust's death, accompanying the Heavenly Host as Faust's soul is taken away.
