Who is the antagonist in Go: A Novel by John Clellon Holmes?

There really isn't an antagonist in the novel, meaning a concrete antagonist..... a character. None-the-less, many of the characters are involved in drugs and excessive use of alcohol. These things can be considered antagonists, as they are conflicts within the characters in question.
