The Lindbergh Children are never mentioned by name. Instead, the author refers to them more as a group. It is obvious Anne's children are a priority in her life and that all measures to successfully raise those children into well-rounded, intelligent adults are taken. Although Anne mourns the loss of time in which she can find and celebrate her own self, the children are never a source of resentment nor seen as a burden.
