In Chapter One, Andy says his dogs sometimes worry him, and he gives the example of a yellow gunk that he has to clean from their snouts. He says he has a feeling that the dogs have rummaged through the dumpsters behind the cosmetic surgery center, and suspects that the gunk is "yuppie liposuction fat."
