What threatens Frightfuls eggs and how Sam helps Frightful through this challenge

Frightful's eggs are threatened by the work on the bridge and the noise that accompanies it. She won't leave the nest and sits brooding (sitting on or warming) to protect them. In order to allow her the freedom to hunt, Sam broods for her..... and she lets him.
