The Fiend of Athens is a film that Walter and Patty see. In the movie, an a mild-mannered accountant is mistaken for the leader of a gang; ultimately, the accountant becomes the Fiend and leads the group, leading to his death. Walter feels the movie is a parable for those who must take up the fight against oppression; Patty feels the movie is about a man so responsible that he never had a "real" life until he is mistaken for the fiend.
