Frankenstein
Is Victor right to refuse to make a companion for the creature? Or does he have an obligation since he created the creature in the first place? Explain why.

As Victor assembles the female creature, he begins to wonder how he could create another monstrosity. He fears she won't want to disappear as the monster had promised. He also fears that the two might produce spawn creating “a race of devils on the earth.” I think the morality of creating another monster is pretty subjective. I tend to think that Viktor owed it to the creature to create another. Victor failed to see that his creation was actually a benevolent soul.
