What kind of beings are Wain's Wain and the second girl whom Enn talks to?

Wain's Wain and the second girl Enn talks to at the party both seem to be some kind of alien being. Wain's Wain says that she is a second, meaning that she is less perfect and important than her siblings, who had no faults. Wain's Wain belongs to Wain, the being who created her. She was sent by Wain to explore different worlds, and has to report back to her. She is not allowed to dance or do anything that might damage her, as she is Wain's property. This suggests that Wain is some kind of powerful super being who has an interest in Earth. The second girl says she is a tourist and is sulking that her parent teacher insisted on her experiencing Earth. She wanted to go somewhere else, and finds being a human a little disgusting. She does admit to gaining knowledge from it, however. Neither of these alien beings seem aggressive, or like they want to take over mankind. All the aliens at the party seem to be here for research reasons. They seem to recognize each other and get along well, though clearly they are not all the same species.
