Describe the character of Mr. Alice.

Miss Finch is a very prim, stuck-up and opinionated woman who does not seem to understand other people very well at all. She gets on with nature and animals better, and would much prefer to be in their company. She seems to always say the wrong thing at the wrong time, such as talking about the diseases and dangers of sushi when they are about to go out for it. She is extremely socially awkward. However, when the narrator asks her about the subject that she is interested in, she seems to light up and really enjoy herself. When she gets her wish and becomes a jungle woman with her own Smilodons, it is as if she has transformed. She looks pretty, relaxed, and confident. She seems completely at ease. This is because she is finally showing her true self.
