Who is Dr. Gambol Deen (G. D.) Namarti from Forward the Foundation and what is their importance?

Dr. Gambol Deen is a loud, sallow man of moderate height, with a wide mouth and dark hair, Namarti is the right-hand man of the political demagogue Lasken "Jo-Jo" Joranum. Namarti is first seen addressing a student rally on the campus of Streeling University. Hari Seldon has to use physical force against two of Namarti's goons to break up the illegal gathering. Although he apologizes to Hari in Joranum's presence, Namarti remembers the incident and holds a grudge.
