Describe how Forrest and Lt. Dan reunite in Chapter 17.

In Chapter 17, Forrest grabs from the gutter a plastic garbage bag to shelter himself from the pouring rain. Underneath the bag, he finds a homeless person, who turns out to be a badly-aged Lt. Dan. They both exchange stories and Lt. Dan talks about his waiting to die.
