Under what circumstances does Greta leave her egg cup at the Morrill home?

Because Greta realizes she is not able to take things back to her time with her, she knows she cannot take the egg cup. Mrs. Morrill, however, offers a solution when she suggests to Greta that she leave the cup there to eat from when she visits. Greta happily accepts this offer.
