In "Secret Samantha," how does Blade respond to the gift of the shoelaces?

She says she knew Samantha was her Secret Santa and compliments her on the card she made. When she opens the shoelaces, she immediately says "Siiiiick," which she assures Samantha is a good word where she is from. She ties one of the laces around her wrist, then ties the other around Sam's and pronounces them "twins" (83).
