In "Choctaw Bigfoot," who are the Bohpoli and what are they like?

The Bohpoli are the Choctaw little people, tricksters who like to play jokes on people. While they seem to be a real annoyance to all who encounter them, they never truly wish people harm. As a result, they both create problems and then solve those problems through magic. So, for instance, they won't stop buzzing around Bigfoot. He even climbs a tree to get at them, and they work him up to such an extent that he pounds the branch he's standing on and falls. The Bohpoli make sure not to let him get hurt, though, using a Choctaw blanket like a trampoline to break his fall. They delight in chaos but mean no real harm
