What really happened to Lice at the end of the chapter?

When Lice returned to Shelly's he saw Bill on the floor and was overcome by a jealous rage. Shelly then hit him on the head, and when he tried to get up, he use the aquarium for leverage...... the entire aquarium fell on top of him.
