Why does Blaze Duvall spend most of her time in her hotel room on Shelter Island?

For two days after the terror on Easter Sunday, Blaze Duvall only leaves her hotel room to buy food at fast-food restaurants. Blaze is afraid Oliver will be looking for her and find her in the hotel.
