What were the main events that occurred in Chapter 9 of the book "Flipped"?

At breakfast the next morning, Patsy insisted on everyone eating together. She announced that she was going to invite the Bakers over for dinner. Grandpa was for it but Lynetta and Rick were totally against it. Of course, Bryce was worried that the "eggs" incident would surface at the dinner party. He confessed the whole thing to his mother. She said she would keep quiet about it as long as she could be sure he learned his lesson about being honest. He assured her he had. The Bakers were coming at 6 pm that Friday.

Juli was still stand-offish at school. One evening doing homework in his room he took the newspaper article out of his drawer and looked at the picture of Juli up in the sycamore. He accidentally left the article in his folder and the next day Garrett spied it and teased him about carrying a picture of Juli around with him. In the library, Garrett made some disparaging remarks about Juli and her family and about Uncle David. Garret said that he wasn't surprised that Juli had a retarded uncle. Bryce actually felt like punching him out but he thought better of it since they were in the library.
