What does Juli think is neighborly to do and why does she want to help Bryce?

When Bryce's family moves in, Juli thinks it only neighborly to help them. Even though Bryce seemed tired, his father still insists he help. Juli thought she'd come to the rescue and help Bryce's father so Bryce can take it easy.
