How does Bryce end up in the principal's office when he is in fifth grade?

In fifth grade, Bryce decides to end Juli's obsession with him once and for all. He starts hanging around with Shelly, a girl that Juli hates. The two girls wind up having a big fight over Bryce, and he gets called to the principal's office.
