Why does Flashman state that he is not keen on his mission to India in the novel, Flashman in the Great Game: From the Flashman Papers 1856-1858?

Flashman states that his other adventures happened by chance. However, the Prime Minister is recruiting him personally this time. He is unhappy because he has nowhere to escape.
