Who is Jingo from Flashman's Lady and what is their importance?

Jingo is a head-hunter, an assassin. He is a gifted marksman and saves Harry Flashman's life. Note, Jingo is not a marksman in the sense we would expect. His weapon is a blowgun.... his ammunition poison darts.
