From Chapter 12 of the AP Human Geography Wiley Book, how have deindustrialization and the rise of service industries altered the economic geography of production?

Deindustrialization and job cuts often lead to long periods of unemployment, intermittent employment and increased underemployment, and the effects transcend simply the loss of pay, medical benefits and purchasing power. Service industries offer employment but at lower wages and benefits.
