What indications are there in Chapter 8 that Nariman is not likely to ever go back to his own home?

Nariman has osteoporosis which has caused his ankle to break in another place, so he will be bedridden for an even longer time. Also, Coomy continues to do all she can, including destroying the ceilings in Nariman's home, to ensure that he does not get to come home.
