Who is Dawn in the novel, Fairy Tale?

Dawn is the fairy who comes to New Jersey to take Cam back to Otherworld. She is Cam's guide, responsible for teaching him how to be a fairy, as well as his intended wife once he returns to Otherworld and becomes king. Dawn is forty-three years old, but since fairies live for thousands of years, she and Cam are actually very close in age.
