Blond Hair/Blue Eyes

Blond hair and blue eyes are symbols of a prince. Stereotypical fairy tale princes have blond hair and blue eyes. When Woody learns that Charlie’s hair and eyes are brown, he does not think that Charlie can be the prince for which the people of the land have been waiting. From the time Charlie visits Woody to the time he is imprisoned in Deep Maleen, Charlie’s hair lightens to blond and his eyes begin to turn blue. In the team room, Iota tells Charlie to wash his hair so the other prisoners can see the proof that he is the prince.
