The King is described as a good, faithful man whose life is dedicated to his beautiful wife and their daughter, Snow White. When the King's first wife unexpectedly passes away, he marries a beautiful young woman from his land, whom he hopes will help him raise his daughter. Although the King is fully dedicated to his new family, he must frequently leave the home to support his troops in battle. He dies supporting his troops, leaving his family grief-stricken.
