What does Grandma do the day before Dresden is bombed?

After months of checking handwriting samples and debating it in her mind, Grandma decides that she is going to write back the Turkish labor camp prisoner. She intends to have a nice picture taken and is busy putting on makeup and choosing a dress when the bombing starts.
