In Part I, the author tells us that when the apostle John was writing the Gospel of John, he discovered a way to show God's relationship with Jesus by using Greek terms. John uses the Greek term Logos, which can mean Word, or Reason That Ties Everything Together, as a metaphor for Jesus.
