Describe symbolism in Endymion by Dan Simmons

Rhadamanth Nemes is ironically symbolic in two ways. First, she represents the "perfect" warrior.... an addition to the church's forces that will enable them to banish all they believe to be evil. Second, she represents the advances of technology.... something the church claims to be against.
