About what does Jacob argue with Leah and why does he become emotionally upset?

Jacob argues with Leah about his continuing depression over Bella that all the werewolves are forced to share when they transform into their wolf form. Jacob goes home and discovers that Edward has sent him a wedding invitation without Bella's knowledge in an attempt to give Jacob the choice of whether or not to attend the ceremony. Jacob becomes emotionally upset and transforms into his wolf form.
