Where does Edward want to take Bella and who thinks it is a good idea at first?

Edward suggests that he and Bella use airline tickets his parents gave to Bella for her birthday to go visit her mother in Florida. Bella vetoes the suggestion, but Edward brings it up to Charlie without consulting her first. Charlie thinks it is a good idea until he realizes that Edward plans on going with her.
