What does Tom imagine after Dessie's death?

Dessie's death devastates Tom, and he contemplates suicide as he has imaginary conversations with his dead father. Tom imagines his father trying to dissuade him from killing himself but, if he must do it, to please make it as easy as possible on Liza.
