Natsuki's childhood home is in Mirai New Town In Chiba, which is about an hour away from Tokyo. Her house is in the suburbs, and she thinks of the town as a hive in which mating couples nest together to raise their offspring. Natsuki's house is nice on the outside, and full of comforts, but there is no love inside its walls. She feels like an outsider and a burden to her family, who all treat her like a punching bag or a dumpster. The most important item in her bedroom is a calendar, on which she counts down the days until she will get to see Yuu again.
