How does Paul treat Irulan?

Even though Paul claims that he does not want to be cruel to Irulan, he makes her inferior position to Chani very clear and even threatens to kill her in their interview. Paul does not necessarily treat Irulan unfairly, because the two are forced into an awkward position by their marriage of convenience.
