Who is Glossu ("Beast") Rabban-Harkonnen from Dune and what is their importance?

Glossu Rabban, Beast, is the Baron Harkonnen's nephew. He is described as foolish and cruel. Even the Baron considers his nephew as nothing more than a "muscle-minded tank-brain".
