Aunt Habiba is adivorced woman who lives in the house with Fatima's family, she is an excellent storyteller and often entertains Fatima and the other children in the harem by telling stories. Though she holds a low place in the hierarchy of the household, she insists that she would not return to her husband under any conditions.
