Lourdes' husband, Rufino, comes from one of the wealthiest families in Cuba. When Lourdes and Rufina immigrate to America, they spend a few days in Miami. After Rufino's extended family drives Lourdes crazy, she demands that Rufino drive north until she finds cold weather.
