Who is Robin from Dragonwings?

Miss Whitlaw's niece, Robin, becomes Moon Shadows good friend in America. She is precocious, loyal, and affectionate. Robin is responsible for teaching Moon Shadow what it means to be a child in America. She guides him in his new home.
