Who is Miss Whitlaw from Dragonwings?

Miss Whitlaw is Windrider's landlady. She is a caring woman, who goes above and beyond to insure that Windrider and Moon Shadow are safe and protected.... that they have a roof over their heads. Miss Whitlaw treats them like family.
