Why was the ship Maquesta captained ideal for her trade?

The ship Maquesta ( Maq) captained, the Perechon, is ideal for her line of work due to the fact that it is a trim vessel designed both for swift sailing and deft maneuvers that enabled her to slip both in and out of harbors to unload or load cargo that wasn't necessarily hers to do so with. As her ship is faster than those operated by both merchants and Highlords, it once made for good business until all the merchant ships were escorted by Highlord vessels, as Maq didn't like tangling with Dragon Highlords.
