How is Dracula Gothic

We must first define gothic literature. Generally "gothic literature" is a style of writing that is characterized by elements of darkness, horror, and the dark metaphysical. It also has romantic elements, such as nature and the supernatural. Dracula is a perfect example of gothic fiction. There is a scary vampire, scenes of nature in the dark, and mythic religious undertones.
