Is Lil J a static or dynamic character?

Lil J (Jeremy Dance) is a dynamic character in that he shows the greatest amount of change throughout the course of the novel. He starts out as an abandoned child rasied by an abusive, distant, alcoholic mother. This type of life spirals downward when he commits crimes and joins a gang. However, he begins to see that this type of life is not one that he wants forever, and when the opportunity presents itself to get out, he does. This completes his transformation.
