Who is Phil Chartrukian from Digital Fortress and what is their importance?

Phil Chartrukian is the Sys-Sec technician, who tries desperately to warn Strathmore that TRANSLTR has a virus. Determined to prove his claim, he defies his commander's orders to leave the facility. In the end, Chartrukian falls to his death, and Strathmore allows Susan to believe that Hale is the one who murdered Chartrukian.
