Who is Todd Bowden from Different Seasons and what is their importance?

Thirteen-year-old, Todd Bowden, is the first to discover Kurt Dussander's true identity. The two become involved in a love/hate relatiinship, during which Todd blackmails Dussander into doing what he wants. In return, Dussander shares his experiences, something that gives both Todd and Kurt nightmares. In the end, Dussander is arrested and Todd is killed. Unfortunately, he takes the lives of others while shooting at motorists from an overpass before the police can take him down.
